Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy applies to the isuper app. The operator and developer are HONGKONG GLOBAL IMPROVE LIMITED ("we", "us", or "our"). You may contact us about privacy requests, complaints, account deletion, or children's privacy at support@isuper.hk. The service is offered in supported countries and regions outside mainland China. Service availability does not determine where information is stored or accessed.
2. Information we collect and use
To provide account access, Sign in with Apple, content playback, favorites, viewing history, offline downloads, memberships, and profile editing, we may process information such as your account identifier, phone number and verification code, Apple user identifier, email address, nickname, avatar, profile details, favorites, playback progress, download records, order records, basic device and log information, and necessary network-status information. We process this information only as needed to provide the relevant service. Information may come directly from you, from your use of the service, or from a sign-in or payment provider you choose to use. Optional profile details may include birthday, gender, region, occupation, education, relationship status, interests, and biography. Provide only information you want to associate with your profile. We also process comments, reviews, reports, and support correspondence to publish your contributions, respond to requests, and address abuse. Viewing duration, check-ins, referrals, points, and membership records support the related features and help prevent misuse. Purchase verification may involve payment status, transaction identifiers, and app-store receipts. IP addresses and request or error information help deliver content and protect the service.
3. Account registration
You may register with a phone number, verification code, and password, or use a supported third-party sign-in method. By completing registration, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy. We send the information needed to create and secure your account to our backend service. Acceptance of the Terms or acknowledgment of this Policy does not replace separate consent required by law for a particular use of personal information.
4. Device permissions
When you upload an avatar, download content, play audio or video, or sign in, the app may request access to photos, camera, storage, network connectivity, or system account features. We explain the purpose when permission is requested. You may decline or revoke a permission in system settings, but the related feature may not work properly. Sign-in tokens, preferences, cached content, and offline files may be stored on your device to maintain your session and support playback. Removing local files or uninstalling the app does not itself delete server-side records or cancel a subscription.
5. Personalized recommendations and notifications
We may use your browsing, playback, favorites, interests, and basic profile information to provide relevant recommendations and service notifications. You can disable personalized recommendations and notifications in Settings. You may still receive essential service notices and non-personalized content.
6. Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We share the minimum information needed with service providers only when necessary for account access, payments, analytics, customer support, security, legal compliance, or with your separate consent. We require service providers to handle information lawfully and securely. When you publish a comment, review, or other public contribution, the content and profile information displayed with it may be visible to other users and copied by them. Do not include confidential information or another person's private information without permission. Disclosures for legal compliance or security must be lawful and necessary. If information is transferred in a merger, acquisition, or other business transfer, applicable privacy safeguards and notice requirements continue to apply.
7. Third-party services
The app uses Sign in with Apple to let eligible users sign in or connect an Apple ID. Apple may process the Apple user identifier, authorization code, identity token, and information you authorize Apple to provide. Future services, such as Google Sign-In or Stripe, will be added only after their privacy information and terms are made available in the app. For App Store purchases, Apple processes the payment and provides transaction information used to verify purchases and membership benefits. Hosting, storage, and content-delivery services also receive the information needed to deliver requests, such as network information. A provider's own services may be governed by its privacy policy; this does not remove our responsibilities for our processing.
8. Deleting your account
After signing in, you can request account deletion from Settings > Account & Security > Delete account. We will verify the request and then stop providing services for the account and delete or anonymize applicable personal information. We may retain transaction, payment, audit, or security records when required by law. You may also contact support@isuper.hk for assistance with deletion. We may request proportionate information to verify your identity. Retained records will be used only for the lawful purposes that justify their retention. Copies independently made by other users may remain outside our control. Deleting your account does not itself cancel an App Store or other externally billed subscription. Manage cancellation with the provider that bills you.
9. Children's privacy
If you are under the age required to consent to data processing in your jurisdiction, use the app only with a parent or guardian's consent and guidance. We do not knowingly collect children's information unrelated to our services. A parent or guardian may contact support@isuper.hk to request access, correction, deletion, withdrawal of consent, or account deletion. Parental consent does not permit use or processing that applicable law prohibits. Where verifiable parental consent or other protections are required, those requirements must be met. If we learn of personal information collected from a child in violation of applicable law, we will take appropriate steps to stop the affected processing and delete the information unless retention is legally required.
10. Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information; withdraw consent; object to certain processing; or delete your account. You can manage much of this in the app or contact support@isuper.hk. You may also have rights to restrict processing, obtain information in a portable format, and complain to a competent privacy regulator. Withdrawal of consent does not affect processing lawfully performed before withdrawal. When contacting us, describe your request without sending unnecessary sensitive documents. We may verify identity or an authorized agent's authority as permitted by law. We will respond within applicable legal deadlines, explain any permitted extension or refusal, and will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising your rights. Where a right of appeal applies, reply to our decision or email support@isuper.hk with the subject "Privacy appeal".
11. Storage and security
We use measures such as access controls, encrypted transmission, permission isolation, and audit logs to protect personal information. Unless a longer retention period is required by law, we retain information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy. Retention depends on the information category, whether the account is active, the service purpose, legal obligations, and applicable deletion and backup processes. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. We will address security incidents and provide notices where required by law.
12. Changes to this policy
If product features, our data practices, or company information change materially, we will notify you through the app or another prominent method. The current Privacy Policy is available in the app. Where required, we will provide advance notice or obtain consent before materially changing how we use your information. Continued use does not replace consent required by law.
13. United States privacy rights
Where applicable state law applies to our processing, eligible residents may have additional rights to opt out of sale, sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, targeted advertising, or certain profiling, and to limit specified uses of sensitive personal information. The rights available depend on the applicable law and the processing involved. Our commitment not to sell your personal information remains as described above. Contact support@isuper.hk to ask about these rights or submit a request. This contact method does not limit any additional method or preference signal that we are required by law to support.
14. International processing
Information may be stored or accessed outside your country depending on where we and the providers supporting the service operate. Privacy laws may differ between countries. We will apply the safeguards required by applicable law for the relevant processing and transfers. Contact support@isuper.hk for information about processing locations and applicable safeguards. Any applicable regional disclosures supplement this Policy and do not remove mandatory local privacy rights.
